2.5 Day Anti-Racism Workshop

Understanding & Analyzing Systemic Racism

This workshop is presented by Crossroads. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for all of our Agency/Office Directors, Principal and co-workers to participate in this  workshop.

  The 2 1/2 Day Anti-Racism Analysis Workshop,  by Crossroads, is an intensive training to explore an analysis of systemic racism and to learn about the ongoing strategies of the Archdiocese of Chicago for dismantling racism in the Archdiocese, it's schools, member parishes, and organizations.

The specific goals of the event are:

  1. To explore a common understanding of racism and its individual, institutional, and cultural manifestations;

  2. To begin to apply this common understanding of racism to specific situations within the Archdiocese of Chicago;

  3. To explore opportunities for long term educational and organizing efforts to dismantle racism and build anti-racist multicultural diversity.

Who Should Come

The training is open to all interested persons, especially Agency/Office Directors, Principals.

Prerequisite:  

  1. Completed the one day Anti-Racism Introduction Workshop.

  2. Have read Francis Cardinal George's Pastoral Letter on Racism, "Dwell in My Love" (before the workshop.)

Cost:

$150 Per Person (Non-Refundable)

Workshop fee for Archdiocese of Chicago Employees (Schools, Agencies, Departments, and Parishes), all others please inquiry with our office (312) 751-3886.

Time: (Start times might change by instructors)

Day 1 begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m.

Day 2 begins around 8:30 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m.

Day 3 begins around 8:30 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.
