Phase 1
This program invites participants
to a brief and intense program to sensitize them to racial
and ethnic experiences. Parishes are invited to participate
at a neighboring parish or to be a hosting parish for a Phase
1.
Phase 2
The mission of the Phase 2
Workshop is to provide continuity for the Workshops on
Racism and Ethnic Sensitivity.
Phase 2 does this by
training leaders who will present the workshops as a group
of 3 to 5 parishes. A pre-requisite for Phase 2 is
participation in Phase 1 or Phase 3.
Phase 3
Phase 3 is a replication of
the Phase 1 Workshop and is led by a team of
parishioners from several parishes. Pastors take a
supportive role.
A team is formed by grouping 3 to 5
parishes that participate in Phase 2 training. When the
group of parishes replicates the Phase 1 Workshop, it
is their Phase 3.
